CFI is committed to principles of democratic, transparent organization and the empowerment of all people to contribute to improving their social, legal, economic and political conditions.
The CFI consists of a diverse, community based General Assembly of 20 who met annually to elect a 5 member Board of Directors and a 3 member Control Committee. The Service Programs are coordinated by an Executive Director, working with a Management Team of xx, and xx supplementary staff.
We work in diverse partnership arrangements with local Community Based Organisations (CBOs) & international Non Government Organizations (NGOs). Some of the groups we have worked with recently include: the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, USA Aid through Tamkeen, Ireland Aid, the Konrad Adenaur Foundation, the National Democratic Institute, National Endowment for Democracy, etc.
