This project will provide a model for other councils to follow regarding council/citizens relations, the building of local council capacities, increasing local council professionalism, increasing local council contact with the local, regional, national and intl. communities.

Outputs the project is expected to produce. Outputs refer to the specific results and tangible products produced by undertaking a series of tasks or projects.

• Train a minimum of 121 local council members on 9 capacity building subjects.

• Train a minimum of 14 female local representatives on 9 capacity building subjects.

• 7 recommendations from seven workshops will be followed up on.

• 210 citizens will attend 7 workshops in 7 districts.

• 7 uniform statements of local council/citizens relation’s procedures produced.

• 1 final uniform statement of local council/citizens relation’s procedures produced.

• Produce a comprehensive final report in English and Arabic about all project activities.
